Raphaël Liogier is a philosopher and sociologist. He is Professor at Sciences Po, Aix-en-Provence and teaches at the Collège International de philosophie in Paris. Currently a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, Liogier is now pursuing research on belief systems, the impact of technology on values, and the mutations of identity in a globalized world. He is the author of La guerre des civilisations n'aura pas lieu, Sans emploi, and most recently of Descente au coeur du Mâle, an essay on the #MeToo movement.
A NIGHT OF PHILOSOPHY AND IDEAS is an all-night marathon of philosophical debate, performances, screenings, readings, and music. It took place from from Saturday, February 2 at 7PM to Sunday, February 3, 2019 AT 7AM at the Brooklyn Central Library.
